About you & me

I never thought I was going to photograph weddings. Until I was highly commended for my wedding portfolio at the Observer Hodge Photo Award in 2002, a competition for young photojournalists. And that was the kick off.

I still believe that every wedding is unique. I get excited every time I meet a couple for the first time to discuss the details of the day and I am enthusiastic when the wedding day arrives.

I love story telling in photography. So I create a diary with all spontaneous moments and scenes. While the bride and groom take the lead roles, and friends and family participate in this special occasion, I work unobtrusively, which enables me to photograph without disrupting the excitement of the occasion. As the party starts, you will see me on the dance floor, capturing the atmosphere and the moves. Couples regularly compliment me on capturing the essence of the day, from the major moments to the little things that they missed.

I do not work with templates in mind and I believe every couple has its own requirements and needs. I am available to cover any wedding style, from traditional to modern, big or small, religious or civil ceremonies, in the UK or abroad. I deliver a big selection of photographs and offer story-telling books and albums.

I spent two years travelling and photographing in all countries in South East Asia and working in charities in the region. I was invited to photograph more weddings there for the local communities in Cambodia, Malaysia and Borneo.
